Why do I bite my arm and cant remember doing so?!
Question: I have some mental conditions but none include black outs or multiple personalities- but lately I have occasionally noticed bite marks on my wrist but I cant remember biting myself!
I looked all over for info on this but cant find anything, apparently its not common. Anyone heard of this or what mental condition can cause this?

Please consult with your local General Practitioner who will refer you to the right people for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Are you doing it in your sleep?
Maybe unconsciously as some kind of "oral fixation" or need to bite/chew?

maybe its just a habbit during sleep.
i bite my nails during sleep... sum mornings i wake up and their bleeding!!
im sory this wouldnt help much. but if you seriously dont no maybe seeing a doctor?

It's very likely during your sleep. My friend quite often wakes up with scratches down his biceps. Very peculiar, but I don't think it's anything to worry about. Maybe it's your body trying to tell you something.
Maybe you need to ask some one else to bite you and it'll stop. ;)
Maybe you are walking in your sleep. Getting up and doing things that you aren't aware of. Ask a family member to sit with you when you go to sleep and see if they notice this happening. In the end, if you continue to do this, you need to talk to your Dr.
