Bipolar disorder is a life-long condition. It's perfectly normal to experience "normal" periods in amongst all the chaos. Just beware if you truly are bipolar it can return at any point, most likely when you're experiencing a major stressor. It isn't "cureable", but it is highly treatable with medication and therapy. It's great that you're doing well now, just be observant of your moods to watch for a relapse.

fiVe's answer was perfect. Just wanted to ask, did you diagnose yourself or did a Dr. do it?...Because all things that look alike aren't the same. GOOD MENTAL HEALTH.

It's incurable, but you can have periods of normality between episodes.
