all the time. your mind wonders mid sentence and then you realize your EYES have read a whole page but your BRAIN hasn't comprehended any of it.
People's skills vary.
In some cases, some persons may not hear clearly what was said (CAPD - APD) or translate the verbal or written input into a clear mental picture in their brain (apraxia). There are a number of epilepsies (petit mal/absence/complex partial, etc.) which can affect the process for some persons. Good luck.
