Sometimes I see gnats in the sky...?!

Question: recently, I heard that one symptom of having a mental dissorder like skitzophrenia is seeing gnats. Well when I look at the ceiling or at the sky, I always see gnats, actually, for at least a year I've noticed it but I assumed it was normal. Does everyone see gnats, or is is just a symptom of a mental thing going on? I don't think I have any other symptoms, I don't have any paranoia and I don't hear voices or anything. I do get headaches a lot, but I always assumed that they had to do with being hungry or something. Should I talk to someone about this or is it just no big deal?

Thank you so much for your help!!

Seeing "gnats" or small moving dots is normal when looking up because of floaters in your eyes. As long as it doesn't affect your vision, you should be perfectly fine. I'm not sure about the headaches though.

You might have floaters in your eyes. You could try going to an eye dr.

Do you mean gnats like the bugs? One of the big symptoms of schizophrenia is hallucinations which includes seeing things (visual), so if you see soemthing that is not there (whether or not it is gnats) then that could be considered a hallucination .
(Having a hallucination doesn't mean you have schizophrenia, but it probably means something)

headaches are not a symptom of schizophrenia

u shuld go to a eye doctor

hey kid see your family Dr and go from there ,,,stop diagnosing your self////and see a psychiatrist, stop thinking all kinda things before you push yourself into a nerves breakdown

uh, i see gnats too.. ahaha.. well not big ones, just like tiny dots. i hope i'm not a schitzo..

This could be an issue with your eyes, not your mind. If there are tiny little bits of dust in front of your lens they may 'float' across your plane of vision like bugs.
