Any psychologist out there ?!


Question: Ok, I dont feel very well lately. Really depressed. I am in a relationship 6 years now, very good partner but no desirre for sex anymore. We have sex like once every 3 months. My work is boring so are my colleagues. I dont have any good friend to trust, all are superficial. I am drinking alcoholic drinks cause i dont find any pleasure in my life. My grandma had a stroke last week, now my mother has to move on the second floor with me where there is only 1 bedroom so i will have to sleep in the living room which is small. I will lose my private space... I could go and stay with my partner but it will be very annoying cause we will start arguing if we are all day together.... Everythign seems awful..... :(((

poor bugger, you are in a bit of a downward spiral of feeling depressed. as long as you know that most or at least some of the things that you are feeling right now MAY be seen diiferently because of how you are feeling... if you werent depressed, those things would not seem so bad..?? perhaps, only you know. but that doesnt help you. im not a psych.... but i have been there before... its cruching.... all i can suggest is talking to people, like you are trying to now, and if it gets to bad, consider talking to your GP. they prescribe temporary antidepressants when things are really bad and they really so take the edge off. they help.. but alas its much better to make a few small changes that make you feel more empowered... it can be anything, as long as it lifts your mood. if you can feel better without meds, all the better. have you heard about the healing power of music? it is suggested, along with mediation/relaxation in a lot of psych.. sessions. i have done all, and they helped me a bit. hope someone on here can help :)
