Where to register for disability?!

Question: I was diagnosed with PTSD three years ago.. I have tried to go back to work but haven't been able hold a job. I find even seriously looking for one is beyond me -- as the prospect of failing again through personality conflicts fills me with despair.

I thought I would "fight my way through this", but it appears I might not be able to. So, where DOES a person go to apply for disability?

There is a local mental health agency that can help you with coping with PTSD. They can also refer you to the local disability office in your community. It is better to get support than to try to suffer on your own.

the social security office
