Is it normal to be scared of mice and rats?!

Question: If I even see a picture of one, I feel disgusted and scared, is this an irrational fear?

Yes Im sure its something we probably learn as children & associate them with disease( rodents I mean not children) try not to worry to much about it most people feel like this ;-)

for some yes but you sound like it could be a bit extrema and has gone into OCD and is a issue that could effect your normal life so i would go get counseling

Yes, I find their tails to be extra repulsive, like a double fear (rodent and worm in one).

It's one of the common fears. Mine is spiders (yuk!) Your fear seems to go beyond fear into the phobia. Get some advice on overcoming a phobia.

That is totally normal. I know exactly how you feel. Even the thought that they are scared of us, doesn't exactly help that much. The fact that they still crawl around below our feet, always ready to pop out, gives me shivers. Ughh.
