Colours for words?!

Question: when someone says a word to me, i immediatley see it written as a colour in my head.
it's like each word has a colour, and i see it as a colour.
i was talking to my mum once and she was acting like it was really intreguing. but i thought 'oh,everyone does it' is it just my mum being weird or does everyone do it...

There's actually a term for that, it's called "Grapheme-color synesthesia".

No I don't do it...maybe I am weird...sounds nice to me tho as long as there is no orange or yellow or..
