That is terrible & I have been there (and am usually there). Here are some options:

Go to counseling every week.

Get a social worker. In many states, you are entitled to it. Then there will also be a community support person that you can talk to.

spend time with friends & do happy things like a comedy movie or playing cards.

If you don't have a plan, and are just terribly awfully depressed or with bipolar mixed moods, you can call up the doc & say you need a med adjustment.

call a crisis line. There should be one in the phone book. Or they may call it a suicide prevention line. Your area probably has a mobile crisis unit, which will be a nice lady or guy who comes to your house and talks with you for a couple/few hours until you feel more in control. In my state, you access them thru the crisis line. You will have to ask.

Go stay with a friend for the night.

If all else fails, you will have to go to the ER and do the hospital thing again. Usually when you get older, you deal with this stuff better.

You need to work out a suicide prevention plan during your better off times so it is ready for you when you are in crisis.

All the best to you.

what's your problem maybe i can help you, chill just relax life is very valuble.

You should find someone close to spend time with and talk to. Not a Dr., a friend that wont judge you. Figure out what you enjoy doing socially and try to do as much of it that your time will allow.

What exactly do you want to kill yourself for? There are few things in life, other than maybe a severely painful terminal illness, that would call for you to need to kill yourself.

You can change anything you want in your life, and if you're having these kinds of serious mental issues, you really should be seeking help, even if that means you need to be in the hospital.

Suicide is a final solution to a temporary problem. If you really feel like killing yourself, I really suggest talking to your doctor/psychologist. It's not like you cannot kill yourself at any time. Take the time to try and fix your life before ending it without exhuasting every possible solution.

I can tell you that you aren't just a typical student - even though many students suffer from depression. You may need to speak to the local community crisis center. If the hospital hasn't helped, you may need one on one therapy. Please get help before the strong feelings of wanting to die come over you.

I'm not sure about your college, but around here colleges have counsellors that are free to talk to. You can talk to them about things like suicide, absolutely anything really. I saw one and it help me through alot, more than just that really. Plus, they don't have the power to commit you and they are 100% confidential.

I understand.
don't end your life just yet.
maybe you like being miserable
try to lower your desires
suffering is caused by desire
your in a time of your life when you are expected to make goals.
your only goal should be to be at peace with yourself
everything else Will fall into place
stay away from the Psyche drugs like Prozac. they are very dangerous.
you can find that peace with in you by acknowledging
what you are grateful for. things like you are not paralyzed from the neck down. that you are not in prison for a crime you did not commit. quick look at something really ugly. and be grateful that at least you can see it.
life is not what happens to you but how you react to it.
you have to accept things the way they are before you can make a change.
one way you can change is to choose to be happy

well it works for me. peace out
