What is something that you carry that makes you feel better.?!

Question: Alright, so... I've been feeling down lately, not for any particular reason just a down part of the season for me. It is so dark and Dingy here in Indianapolis, Indiana... It's been very cold and today was the only remote clear day for the past week. I need something that when I leave home to go somewhere whether it be work or school I will have something that will cheer me up. Something small that can fit into a pocket and it ( Or atleast I don't want it to run off of ) Electricity because it may zap me I mean if it is a good item sure I'll use it.. But can you refer me to a site that would sell something or things like little nik-naks I can carry around... I want something that I can think hey I'll be fine and I'll be home in no time. I will be leaving for London soon for a trip and I need something that I can pull out when I am feeling down from my trip. When I leave home alone I don't do well at all... I am the person who hates leaving home but loves to travel it's a win lose thing

Print this out, fold it, and put it in your pocket.

[IF]

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

--Rudyard Kipling

Why don't you buy a nice ring?
This way, you will always have it with you and when you feel a bit lonely for home, you can touch it, reassure yourself, and nobody else will ever know.
My talisman is a diamond heart pendant, which my husband gave me for Christmas, many years ago. I only take it off for x-rays, MRI's, mammograms or surgery.
I'm sure whatever you choose will serve you well.
Good luck!!

Nothing is more important than time. It flys by. It can be a reminder to cherish what you love in life.

I wear a locket with my Grandma's picture in it. she died from cancer a day before new years, 2008. Everytime I get too miserable or too depressed I look at her picture, think about where she is now, and start feeling better when I start remembering that one day I will be there.

I carry Greek worry beads. It is a strand of beads that is in a circle like a bracelet, and when you worry or are stressed out you are supposed to move the beads back and forth while thinking of things that you love or make you happy. After doing it a time or two you forget what you were worried about =)
