Lexapro!!!?!
Question: I have severe anxiety to the point where its hard to get through the days. I just got prescribed lexapro 10mg, and i was wondering if anyone out there has taken it and if it worked ? also what were the side effects.

My husband takes Lexapro 10 mg for anxiety also. He has no real side effects. But he does say it helps him last longer when we are intimate -- and that's a plus. :)
It will probably take at least a month before you really feel the positive effects. Give it a chance -- it may help you.
I took it for depression. 10mg for 4 weeks, 20mg for 6 days then an inept psychiatrist changed it to 40mg.
I was on 40mg for about 4 weeks and ended up in the emergency room for uncontrollable shaking. It wasn't as bad as an epileptic seizure, but I was shaking the whole gurney in the ER.
My regular doctor took me down to 20mg after that because I refused to keep seeing that psychiatrist.
The side effects from the reduced dosage was what I call crazy legs. When I sat or laid down my legs seemed to have a mind of their own, shaking or bouncing or moving together and apart repeatedly.
Another side effect was sexual. It took forever for me to ejaculate and then I didn't have an orgasm. It was only as pleasant as emptying a full bladder.
