its such a great thing that you are going to the GP about this. Thats the first step in wanting to help yourself.
Just sit with the Doctor and explain to him/her how you are feeling and what you've been doing to yourself. They aren't there to judge you or to form opinions of you, they are there to help you. So just explain everything and please dont leave anything out. Tell them what is bugging you and the way your moods have been. Also tell them that you are self-harming. tell them everything!
your parents dont have to find out what is said in the doctors office unless you choose to tell them.
Please stay strong, keep your chin up and good luck!
xx :-)

take fish oil and a b complex vitamin

I have been treated for depression for over 16 years and you sound classic. I would see a good psychiatrist as soon as possible. Depression is not anything to mess with. Please seek help.

You have to get down to the root of the problem. What's making you depressed? You need to fix those parts in your life.Hurting yourself will only make you feel worse. Go for a walk when you feel like hurting yourself. Call a friend. The best thing you could do is talk to your mom or dad, if they are level headed people. Because they could give you the help you need or get you the help you need to over come this. Be safe, please!

oK Please dont harm urself its not good for you seek help and talk to ur parents let everything out of u and u will feel much better but one thing i do recomend u pray and get close to God remember his ur creator ur father please dont harm urself life its short and beautiful ihope ur do more than well God bless you!

i was like that i got some ideas:

go to the gym a work out it will help to make youfeel better and good for your body.

talk to your mum or friend try to open up, it could make u cry or angry but it will help.

and try out new things to take your mind off things, do something that u r good at.

i did all that, few months later i feel happy. but it does go wrong but look the bright of life not the bad side.

i too having been suffering from depression for years and i am sorry to say but they way you describe your situation i think you have it too. I have tried a combination of 'talk therapy' and antidepressants (zoloft and Paxil) nothing much has helped long term but i do feel significantly better after.
I would reccomend you speak to your gp and try and go to a counselor before you think of taking antidepressants.
Hope this helps, and good luck.

When you get to the doctors, just let it go.I'm saying talk about everything that has come across your mind in the last 14 mo.Its okay to cry too, your not weird or anything, your humane trying to get feelings out.
