Is my friend mad?!
Question: I'm really worried about my best friend. This morning at school she was really freaked out and said she felt a hand strangle her. Shes said she felt the hand before. One time I was using skype on webcam with her and she said she was being strangled by the hand and she looked really frightened and in pain. She says at night she sees an army of her behind her in the mirror but all with something different about them. Shes spoken to our religion teacher and he told her to speak to a priest. I'm really really worried about her cause i don't really believe in these things but when i read about bloody mary for example i always made sure my mirror was facing the other way at night... lol. Anyway... she said she started seeing the many hers and feeling the hand at the beginning of the school year (mid september) Has she lost it?

maybe she's schizophrenic? or in the early stages. does this hapen to her when she's alone, like if she were to sleep over would this happen to her at your house? i dont think that the boy she liked could be a reason for all of this but may have contributed a little, i think that the school councelor would be fine, and if they actaully listen to her and feel that shes being sincere they can make stronger suggestions and talk to her parents for her
She needs to see a Dr., and go from there... maybe counseling or pyschiatric help. Maybe anxiety? Dunno..

she either needs a therapist or an exercist. why don't you have her try both. it seems really messed up. your preacher should be able to help.
Yes, the school counsellor would be a really good route for her. It's not possible to work out from your description what is really going on for her - it could be anything from a reaction to trauma all the way through to schizophrenia. Given that she can easily get to see a professional without having to involve her parents, that would be the best place to start.
Have her speak to a school counsellor. She sounds like she might have a mental illness and any kind of counsellor should be able to see that and send her for help. If the school counsellor thinks that she needs further diagnosis, he can bring her parents in to a meeting to discuss what they should do
well, she's not going crazy she just needs help. if her parents won't take her to a therapist, you can tell her to go talk to the school counselor they are trained with that stuff and they know what to do. if she is scared for her life you should tell her to go to the counselor at the school if they don't do anything about it go to the ER, they get those kind of cases alot.
some parents think it's just a phase their children go through but that's not always the case. Just stick by her and help her through it. right now she needs her closest friends there.
Maybe its because of something shes watched or read. Maybe something from her past life. Like if she believes in ghosts and past life experiances. She could be very worried. I'd go to a doctor just to make sure its not some condition. She may just be blessed with communicating with the dead like Derek Acora or Most Haunted presenter. Try having a sleepover with her, then you could see if it happens while your around. Its most likely worry or nervousness. I used to think there was a ghost in the school toilets and i always SWORE i saw pencils move and get tapped on the shoulder. It could be that she knows about someone how has died in the school. Like i did, this young girl *apparently* died by jumping off the school bell. Then it had to be taken down. Just tell her not to worry but talk to a doctor.

The first thing to do is to dispense with all this Religious jiggery pokery...because she is not demonically possessed either.
It might be a help for you yourself to speak to your Priest who will very carefully explain the Churches parameters on deciding upon possession, and then you can offer re-assurance to your friend.
Yes she is poorly, ofcourse she is.It will take the Offices of a Doctor and a Psychiatrist to determine in exactly what way.
They will consider the possibilities of Severe Depression and, or, Anxiety, or even Some kind of Scizoid ailment.But whatever is wrong they will offer the necessary and effective treatment.
