How does a person with little willpower finally learn how to introduce willpower!

Question: I have been able to lose a lot of weight by working on my willpower but when it comes to cleaning my room and doing other things, both mundane and vital, I almost completely stall
out. I am in my late 40s and single. I need to change and soon.

I definitely can understand where you are coming from, many times when work needs to be done that i don't want to partake in, i become very fatigue and eventually find myself distracted with napping or doing something useless, like downloading fonts lol.

Willpower is very hard to maintain, and you can not expect yourself to strain mentally to do so. It's something within you that you have to pull out and have a type of disciplinary act.
One motivational thing would be to reward yourself for doing something proactive and positive that you usually wouldn't.

Planning out a schedule for everyday activities you do not want to take care of, is a good way to reduce the chaotic feeling that builds up inside. A lot of times people will react to music positively, so incorporate things into your schedule that you enjoy. (I usually enjoy singing and dancing while cleaning, so cheesy but it works most times.)

Willpower will slowly rise to the surface with your self improvement, try to surround yourself with positivity, set out small goals for yourself to reach eg. ("I will clean the bedroom under 30 minutes, and that will be it for this morning").
You don't need a starting point as you have already provided yourself with one, in relation to losing weight.......now you just need to progress!

Good luck :D

willpower is something u have to work on, it's not easy u just have to force yourself to move, even if u just start off a little, do it at small task, no one really like to clean or doing things that r boring but that is part of life. is there a chance that u maybe depress, that can make u feel like that. good luck
