We go through different cycles when we sleep. So what you are experiencing is normal. We have deep or slow wave sleep, followed by periods of lighter sleep. The end of the sleep cycle is called REM this is when we dream. REM stands for Rapid Eye Movement. We have sleep cycles of 60-90 mins. It seems you are having a lucid dream. This is when you are aware of what is going on. So you are aware that you are sleeping and trying to wake up. It happens to all of us at one time or another. try going on-line and finding out more Try the link below

yes it has.

i wasnt sure if it was a dream or not ...

It has happened to me too probably too everyone it is just a natural body thing that happens

yess... it has happened

yeah. now that you mention it it has. I would like an explanation now that you bring it up does any one know? It wicked freaky

Probably 'levitation', followed by an urgent visit to the optician!

my friends mum researches that cant remember whatit is called but this is how it works.

when your sleepin there is a time when you go paralised no body ever knows this and you cant be woken up unless you are streessd or have somthing in your head. you are parilised as your muscles tighten and go to sleep makin you not able to move also when you do wake up in this period of time you can start to see things moving round the room and this actually is scary and not one bit funny happend to me onc end i got that scared i took an asthma attack not very nice

hope this helped you

I never had that, but I was talking to a mate today about it, he had it a lot when he was younger... it's called sleep paralysis. Check this wiki page out; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paral...

and here's a link on how to cope with sleep paralysis; http://www.wikihow.com/Cope-With-Sleep-P...

Good luck!

Its called sleep paralysis and is very common..

Very good. You asked a question this time. And as I stated, I will answer it to the best of my ability:
I have never experienced this, nor have I ever heard of anyone that has.
Now then, since I have answered your question to the best of my knowledge, I will move on to talk about other things.
Punctuation is a key part of any sentence. Without punctuation, your sentence continues to go on and on with no definite end. I noticed you had two commas in your very long sentence, which is a great start, but you really need to finish the sentence. Next time, try using a period (.), possibly an exclamation point (!), and since you are asking a question, it would not hurt to throw in a question mark (?). Keep working on it though, you'll get it one day.

Yes it has happened to me. My most vivid memory of this is at a time a few months after my father had passed away. We weer going through a stage of weird noises and movement going on in our home at night, and this caused me to become very restless in my sleep and even have nightmares. Often during the nightmares I would try to scream and kick or wake myself up but my body would not respond. However, my partner says that I would be thrashing on the bed and making funny noises. I really wish I had an explanation as to why our bodies respond this way. Hopefully someone else does. Good luck.

Yes it has happened to me , on more than one occasion and i never felt so scared an alone and helpless
