Alcohol is a depressant so will only make you feel worse. Your session with your counselor might have brought up some difficult feelings and perhaps you are drinking to keep a lid on them. I would speak to your counselor about your drinking too. xx

stop drinking.

Diazepam.

drinking is definatly not gonna help.
you need to talk to people though.you may feel terible after councilling but you always feel worse before you get better .you hav to stick with it! if you hav close friends or family talk to them aswell thats what they are there for.

chill on yahoo answers and have another beer... laugh at random answers like this one

The only option, the real option: 1.) Quit drinking. Be sober. Be happy. Have fun. Enjoy life. Alcohol kills.

I think you need some sleep then go back to your counselor on Monday...Hope you feel better!

Stop your downward cycle. No one can help you get better but you! You have enough other issues that you should be taking care of that it is horrible that you are adding fluid to the fire.

Yeah stop drinking

Snap.... s*it knows. My life is crap... we aught to set up a group for 'My life is s*it so who cares.com'. My issues are: I've got breast cancer, I broke 5 bones in my ankle and have c.o.p.d. (acute bronchitis) and my husbands had a stroke so I have to work every day God sends to keep the business going or we would have to live off state benifits....Still, 'Take a deep breathe, pick yourself up and start all over again'.....I'm trying so I think you should. I'm kinda O.C.D. too. B.T.W, I like 'Monk' the detective on sky.

Bulimia and O.C.D. are both difficult to deal with. You need a great support group to help you get to the root of these problems. Someone to talk to, vent to,express thoughts and feelings to.

Alcohol will make depression worse because it's a depressant. I'm sure you realize this but decide to drink anyway in an effort to numb certain emotions. Problem is the problems are not only still there, you compound them by covering them up .

You really need to deal with the under lining issues as fustrating and painful as some of these deep rooted issues may be.

No more drinking tonight. Try to hang in there, relax if possible, take deep breaths, maybe call a friend to talk to or spend time with (someone understanding who is a healthy relationship in your life).

On monday, keep your appointment with your councelor, and be honest with he/she about what your going through. If this person is not helpful enough, there are many other professional people who can help. It may take a little research and that's not at all fun when your already depressed but remember nothing in life worth while is easy.

Best wishes to you. Most people are stronger and can handle more than they realize.

Sorry about the way you feeling, alcohol is also a depressant, so drinking is,nt helping, if you can stand and walk straight, I suggest getting out into the fresh air and have a walk, while doing this think of all those who may be less fortunate than you are or with more serious problems - dying of incurable illnesses, losing loved ones, soldiers risking lives in dangerous situations etc. See that things may not be as bad you think and there are people worse off than you. Start concentrating on the positives and counting your blessings. Also lift your mood, what makes you laugh, never forget your laughter.

First stop feeling sorry for yourself get a grip , the way you have posted this =you are intelligent= and fully aware of the problems you say you have.
The main answers to your question, are actually in the question itself, (1) (Drink) stop that.(2) look around you at some of the people who =are very poorly= and think how lucky you are with your =minor= problems because that is what they are.The treatment for what ails -you- is in your own hands if you can take long walks in the fresh air with a friend to talk to, Good luck

First of all, you will not find the help you seek with alcohol, and you don't need me to tell you that.. Its only a escape and when you return to reality your situation will not be changed, plus you may have a hang over..

What you need to do is concentrate on what it is that is driving you to such destructive habits... i.e bulimia, and alcohol... we all have needs, and wants, etc, and we all have had emotional bruises and scars perhaps on this journey called life, that we have experienced.

We need to come face to face with the actual reason for our pain, in order to move on. We need to make peace with ourselves, whether it be forgiving ourselves, or dealing with what happend...i.e ever see the movie "Rain on Me" with Adam Sandler.. We are only humans, we feel, cry bleed... Stop being so hard on yourself.

The best way to "chill out," or feel better is time, and also opening up and talking to people... You also need to get outside yourself, you need to switch your focus not just on yourself and your dealings...as our mind can be consumed with everything wrong with our lives..... Turn your attention to others.

People who have it worse then you, like go help serve food at a soup kitchen, or go volunteer at a woman's shelter etc.... focus on what you can do to help others get better.... and consequently as a result you'll start feeling better about your life, and what your doing for others..

Music man, Get a bit of funk or folk in your bones somthin relaxing yet meaning full

Drink plenty of water.start some relaxation classes to help you be more focused ! maybe try meditation.Remember drink doesnt solve problem's it only adds to them.

alcohol is a depressant.... so DONT DRINK...you might feel good for a short time but the depression WILL set in later.....STOP DRINKING if you want to feel better
