Is it possible for someone to grow out of being ADHD?!

Question: I think it depends on the person and the severity.

Someone close to me has ADHD, pretty bad, and medication is the only thing that has improved his situation in a major way. I think I have a minor case of ADHD because I've been able to control it as I've gotten older and when I was younger, it was a lot harder, if not impossible at times. I am dyslexic. I don't think that's changed at all. I've just learned how to adapt.

Yes it is.

Without any doubt. If one chooses to it will be but if they do not chose so then no it won't.

NO. ADHD is a disorder that follows you through life, without medication. My dad has ADD, and he's 42. He just takes meds for it.

No, not historical ADHD.

Historical ADHD is a lifelong challenge like epilepsy, cerebral palsy, Tourette's, and other neurological challenges.

It is possible that some aspects of ADHD, for example, the hyperactivity (gross and fine motor symptoms) becomes less apparent over the years, but the inattention is there (aka remnant of ADHD) for life.

Many persons with ADHD, over the years, will chose not to talk that much about ADHD for a variety of reasons. They still have ADHD but they simply don't talk about it. That's my understanding. Good luck.
