Question: no matter what occupation it was, if they said they felt depressed and that they could harm someone?
i feel that one of my work mates may endanger someone in the workplace or even elsewhere and i also feel obligated to say something to the director. im not sure if this person is a drama queen or really serious about harming someone as they told me yesterday while having a breakdown. i tried to calm her and she just lost it.and i found out it was over a cup of water being spilt down her top wetting her new bra! caring on what she may think of me is a little concern but i think this is serious. my intentions is to see the director on tues, mon is a public hol for western australia.

Anyone who suggests that they are depressed and may hurt others should be reported. You owe it to yourself and your coworkers. Too many times people have heard or noticed soemthing and not said anything until it was too late.
If she is a potential threat to any ones life report her. All the things that are going on it is better to be safer than sorry.

Your poor colleague certainly does seem unwell,even if she is being a Drama Queen she needs Physchiatriatic help now so she is not fit to be in a work environment for her own sake as well as others. You can always request to your Director that he/she keeps your identity confidential and he/she must do so!! For your colleagues sake and your own talk to your Director in confidence!!
