Things to do sitting down?!

Question: Hi i am sentenced to about 4-6 additional weeks on crutches (joy) after already using them for 4. I am bored out of my mind!! Do you have any ideas of what to do other than watching T.V. playing video games, or using the Computer? I really hate using my crutches but i am also bored out of my mind!
Feel free to get as creative as you like... i could use a good laugh.

-Learn to knit - Scarves make great gifts.
-Write a book. -1001 ways to entertain yourself while using crutches.
-Call your grandmother to say hello...or someone else stuck in a recliner all day.
-Send "thinking of you" cards to long lost relatives.
-Send thank you notes to all the people who have helped you while you have been on crutches.
-Update your address book.
-File your taxes.
-Design your dream home.
-Play RainMan and see how many names and phone numbers you can memorize from the phone book.
-Watch DVD movies a second time with the commentaries on.
-There is an excercise show called "Sit and be Fit" somewhere. You can excercise from a chair.
-Catolog all of your debt and rank them by interest rates and make a "get out of debt" plan.
-Read about a new subject.
-Read about a new place you can go when you are able to ditch your crutches.
-Invite a friend over to hang out and wait on you. Don't forget to send them a thank you note!
-Ask a friend to take you to Wal-mart so you can have scooter races.
-Borrow a wheelchair from someone (ask first) and get out for some fresh air and tear up the town.

That's all I've got. Even this much will constitue as co-author when you write the book.

Oh! One more thing SMILE!

Masturbate.

read books, all sorts of books. you could try painting, ceramics, sewing. write in a journal, write stories. organize photos, albums. meditate.

if you dont mind getting a little fat, then eat
if you are mean, then make prank calls
and if you simply are bored, call your friends

Ohhh that sounds like fun....Actually my dream has always been to have a reason to lie in bed all day and not be sick...Read Read and Read!!!!!!!!!!! You have so much time on your hands and reading will open up your mind...Find books like interest you to read and not only fiction books...Try and find something educating...something you always wanted to know more about =]

Why not go out on your crutches? It is a great time to gain arm strenth. You should be using your arms, not your armpits. Go to the mall or theme park. They usually have wheelchairs for rent. Don't let crutches limit you (except during PE if you don't feel like joining in). People with permanent disabilities overcome obstacles everyday. Try to live your life as normally as possible and be thankful your situation is only temporary.

Scrapbook, knit, redesign your room's interior design, paint your nails (and toenails on one foot hahaha), sketch or paint, begin your first novel??
