Answers: all these times im having a hard time figuring out want is it i really want in life..

All my life I wondered the same thing, felt worthless, and had depression more times than not. It wasn't until I started answering questions on here that I realized what I want to do with my life. I had been on the right path before I dropped out of college. Now that I know what I want to do, I'll be taking classes again and finishing my major.

A few years ago I had a pastor who said, "If you don't know what you want to do with your life, start with what you like." Good advice. What are you good at? What do you enjoy doing? What careers are available where you can use those talents and skills? What can you do to make yourself a better candidate for the job?

Ultimately it boils down to you making the decision about what's right for you. You might have several interests. Start taking classes geared toward careers that appeal to you. Get financial aid if you need it. As you learn more about the areas that interest you, you'll get an idea of which direction might be best for you. Ask a guidance counselor to help you choose the path toward landing a career in your desired field.

If you don't know your personality type, this might be a good place to start on your search for the right career.

Once you find out your personality type, you might want to try sites like these. (This is one example of personality type.)

i had the same question for so long too. Then I realized that what I want, is to not know what is coming up in life. I want to travel just live anywhere go anywhere stay any where. dONT FIGURE IT OUT YET. For me though also I believe that we only have one chance on this earth so what the heck why not try to make a change why not be someone special. Everyone lives and dies. Dont you want to go down in the history books. I know I do, and will.

Right now it seems like you are in transition. You must ask yourself a few questions. What is most important in your life - family, career, school, friends. etc. Then think about your passions - not romantic - but things you really enjoy. It really helps to do something that you believe in. If you are searching for true happiness, you can find that when you pray, God hears you.

Give it time...

If someone walked up to you on the street, someone you'd never laid eyes on before, and asked you "What flavor of ice cream would I like?" What would you tell them? Either (1) you'd tell them 'How the hell would _I_ know? or (2) you'd tell them what kind YOU like and figure they'd like it too.

What you really want in life is one of those intensely personal decisions. Nobody can tell you, and especially someone who doesn't know you. Anyone who tried to tell you would really be telling you what he or she wants, not what you want.

The thing to do is to keep your options open. Move in the direction of your interest. When you get further along you'll have a better idea of what you want. Most of us don't really get settled in life until our 30s. Most of us don't end up where we wanted to be when we were 18. But most of us figure it out eventually. Some, I guess, don't ever.

Long-term goals are difficult, especially when you're young, because you just can't see that far. So think a year or two or five down the road. Think about what's important to you, and what you like. Think about how you'd enjoy spending your time.

Sorry if that sounds vague. 8^) It's the best I can do under the circumstances.

The best way to get a clear picture of what is going on in your mind is through Meditation. I'd suggest that you learn how to do it, and practice it every day several times a day. It will help you heal in areas where you are hurting and give you strength in areas you feel weak. Also you can do this to seek Spirituality, which I think we all yearn to find the answers too, and we are all called to a higher calling, God. However, if that doesn't sound good to you, then think about the things that you like doing the most. What are you really talented with? Explore ways you can combine what you enjoy doing with a way of employment. For instance some people hate working for others, so they make a business doing EBAY which gives them the choice to choose their own hours and pick up stuff to sale at garage sells etc. There are also several online tests you can take to figure out what career path would be best for your type of personality and your interests. Good luck!

Studies suggest that genetics, early environment, neurobiology and psychological and social processes are important contributory factors. Current psychiatric research is focused on the role of neurobiology, but a clear organic cause has not been found. Due to the many possible combinations of symptoms, there is debate about whether the diagnosis represents a single disorder or a number of discrete syndromes. For this reason, Eugen Bleuler termed the disease the schizophrenias (plural) when he coined the name. Despite its etymology, schizophrenia is not synonymous with dissociative identity disorder, previously known as multiple personality disorder or split personality; in popular culture the two are often confused.

Increased dopaminergic activity in the mesolimbic pathway of the brain is a consistent finding. The mainstay of treatment is pharmacotherapy with antipsychotic medications; these primarily work by suppressing dopamine activity. Dosages of antipsychotics are generally lower than in the early decades of their use. Psychotherapy, vocational and social rehabilitation are also important. In more serious cases
