Suicide Help?!
Question: Hi. I know that there are Suicide Hot lines, but are there any for Spanish speaking people?....is there any thing we can do to find a therapist or someone to talk to if you don't have insurance,don't speak English and don't have SSN? something like planned parenthood, but i don't know if they offer that kind of help.
? Plz. Serious answers only, and its not me it is for a family member, but I do not know how to help them.
The are also scared that if they ask for help that it will go on their record and they will take their children away.....THANK you

You can call 1-800-TALK or 1-800-SUICIDE to talk with someone in Spanish or English. They can help with emotions, and can help find places that will help your family member.
Unfortunately, I don't know of any places that can help someone with no SSN. But perhaps when you call the hotline they would know more.

Just ask for a Spanish person. Or someone who speaks Spanish.
you can take your family member to the emergency room. they will then transfer them to a mental health section. you can apply for charity care once your there. charity care will pay for your bills if you are not financially able to and have no insurance.
I don't know what state you live in, but you can put "suicide hotline in spanish, name of state" in the search engine and a lot of numbers will come up.
