Did paxil work for you or against you>>>/?!
Question: I have General Anxiety. I have tried LExapro and it worked GREAT BUT... I felt like a couch potato And in my line of work I can't have that feeling.
I have been on Paxil now and i have lost weight, feel good and have energy (my doctor said it would be like a stimulant compared to Lexapro). I lost 12 pounds in 3 weeks. I am 25 pounds overweight.
I have a very low dose of 10 mg. I feel like I can concentrate better (i read that it also helps adults with ADD). So I am for it. But it may not help everybody.

It didn't work, period.
But another medication did. The lesson I learned from that was that if something's not working, I should look for something that *does.* I took Paxil for years and I should have been smart enough to tell my doctor that we needed to try something else. I told my (former) doctor once and all she did was increase the dosage! *rolls eyes*
I was lucky to find a great doctor when I moved to where I am now.
