You need to talk to someone about it. I know how you feel. I went off of my antidepressants because they made me gain 60 pounds. It made me feel worse about myself. Try to find a friend to talk to or a way to relax. Find ways to relieve or avoid stress, which is almost impossible. good luck.
I hope you find a way to get better. depression is a bad thing that some do not understand. It is hard to deal with and makes a person feel helpless. : (.

If you're feeling depressed you have to tell them...maybe you could try a different anti-depressant?

Try and keep yourself happy. If you don't like being depressed(I don't know who does like it) than maybe going back on the pills is what's best for you. Gaining wait isn't a big deal. You can do things to change that, ex. eating right & exercising. I know depression causes lots of weight gain too, but try and do things to change that. If you truly don't want to go back on the pills, than confronting your parents is the best thing you can do. They will see it in you sooner or later anyways. Try to keep your mind off of certain things. Join some groups at school, listen to music, hang out with friends, ect. Don't remind yourself you are depressed. I know it's a hard thing to deal with. But I say your best bet would be to talk to your parents & see if you can find a therapist or something to help you with depression sense you don't want to go back on anitdepressiants.
Good luck!

I think you should stay on the pills and maybe to lose that extra weight gained as a result of the pills is exercise and eat healthy. If you insist try to find a mental health specialist that does hypnosis or something that doesn't involve medicine.

i havent actually been on antidepressants but i hear they are bad for various reasons so i would not go back on them again.

anti-depressives make me angry :) but if they work maybe you need to be on them for a bit longer. because if your depression is caused by a chemical disorder in the brain, you just might need to take them a bit longer. and if its not, try a counselor :) you can get help for free. and I would tell your parents, because holding it in will eventually make you spiral downwards and that can cause more pain to the loved ones, your best bet is tell them before you get too bad, if your just going into depression again its a lot easier to get out of it.
