I can't remember...LOL, how ADD of me. I know in my case, my right hemisphere is operating at a much slower rate than my left (or rather, my left hemisphere processes things at an abnormally fast rate.) That is the finding that was presented to me after my testing, so perhaps that is what happens with others, too.

Studies of people with ADHD show that certain brain areas have less activity and blood flow and that certain brain structures are slightly smaller. These differences in brain activity and structure are mainly evident in the prefrontal cortex, the basal ganglia, and the cerebellum. These areas help to inhibit behavior, sustain attention, and control mood.

I've heard that it's something to do with the frontal lobe.
