I remember my friends' name was Penelope. I went to a small Catholic School & she was my best friend in Kindergarten. I wouldn't even let other girls use the restroom stall where she was. I use to climb underneath the door to lock it so no one would go in there. She always wore a polka-dotted dress & a ribbon in her hair. I would talk to her everynight before we went to bed. She would also help me hide veggies in my milk carton during lunch because I hated veggies. The Nuns would always make us eat everything on our trays. I remember the reason 'Penelope' became my best friend....a girl in my class use to pick on me and would take my lunch money, so 'Penelope' was my little body-guard. Wow, I haven't thought of her in almost 26 years! I can still remember exactly what she lookes like. Thanks for letting me tell you about her...she always made me smile, that silly Penelope!
