Are you sure that today was a good day? I'm asking because sometimes, even if nothing bad has happened on the outside, there are still a lot of unconscious thoughts and feelings going on. I can't say too much, because i don't know very much about this topic. I wish i could help more. Cutting can become addictive, and so maybe you feel like doing it automatically, even though you don't know why. I think that there is something behind it, that is making you want to do it. Are you seeing someone professional about this? If you're not, please ask someone for help. This is something very complicated and it needs special attention. Also, talk to your family when you have these thoughts. Sometimes, it helps to just say it out loud to someone else.

In large part it becomes a habit. When you've done it for a long time you come to expect it and when it's not there it can be a little disrupting. It's like moving to a new home can make you home sick even if you hated the place you were before. As it becomes less normal for you this should wear away.

Your body is used to it. Your mind tells your body that you need it even on good days.

im going through the exact same thing. i cut myself all the time, but sometimes wen it seems like a good day & nothing makes me mad, i still kinda wnt to..
Don't kno if this helps, but i wanna advice u to try & get control of urself, try not to cut anymore!!
cuz afterall cutting is BAD!! (& the scars don't go away..)

I'm going though the same thing and i lie to everyone and say i don't cut myself any more i think we do that because we have to much things going on u know and we r stressed out i think
