Why am I all of a sudden constantly bored?!

Question: For some reason, I'm just always bored. I don't get out much and I never go on vacations. All week it's the same thing, school, homework, bed. I'm not even outside 4 a full 15 minutes per day. I used to want to get out, but now I don't even feel like going anywhere anymore. On the weekends, I also do absolutely nothing. Saturday I clean, Sunday I finish up homework and sit on the computer all day. I'm not overweight and I'm not going in that direction. I can't look at food when I'm not hungry and I hate junk food. Basically, I have no life anymore. Can my constantly being bored lead to something bad in the future?

You will be fine. This is an EXTREMELY common thing with teens.

Good luck!

Too bad. Sounds like life. Maybe if you are so bored you'll end up being a boring person and alone. I guess that's what could happen. You CAN do things to make life less boring. Volunteer or something. Help others. I don't know.

Judging by the thumbs down, I guess people don't really understand sarcasm. But the part about changing your own life if you are bored it's good advice. I hated my life and so I asked a guy out - something I'd never do. Well, guess what? We're getting married now. You need to take charge of your life and MAKE it what you want. You can't sit there and get upset that it is boring because it will always be that way if you don't change that.

Sounds like you are feeling some depression. It's pretty common this time of year as we come out of winter. What you need to do it motivate yourself to do something. Get a hobby. Go outside and get some fresh air. You have control over your future and you need to take the reins.

This is very common amongst teens but it does sound like a mild depression.

Check your diet out - even when you're not eating junk you can still be missing essential vitamins and minerals. Could be worth eating some fish or popping some fish oil supplements.
