Switching from Ritalin to strattera what to expect?!

Question: I've taken Ritalin for 14 years, and just recently my eye starting twitching every time I take it. It has also started to make me feel jumpy. I think its def. time for a change. What should I expect with strattera? and how long should I wait till I stop taking the Ritalin to try it?

Strattera will work either better or worse or not at all compared to Ritalin. Strattera will not work the same at all as Ritalin.

Historically, the single classification of meds most closely associated with the temporary reduction of ADHD symptoms in some (not everyone) is the central nervous system stimulants - alerting agents. The weakest stimulant is coffee - caffeine compounds; strongers meds include Ritalin, Dexedrine, Adderall, etc. Good luck.

I would talk to your doctor, some of this type of medication can stay in your system for up to three weeks, according to my doctor.
