Take 4 Omega 3 fish oil supplements, daily, replacing 2 of them with cod liver oil supplements, or a teaspoonful of the oil (I spread mine on toast, and mask its strong taste with fishpaste, and pepper), in the winter months only, and eat healthily, in accordance with your "nutritional type" as determined at http://www.mercola.com/ SEARCHBAR. http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris Try having 2 - 4 cups of green tea, daily. As with all herbal/green teas, use lemon/lime, and/or a little sweetener (NOT ARTIFICIAL!!!) but no cream, or milk. Xylitol is preferable, (health food stores) or fruit sugar (fructose, such as "Fruisana", from supermarket sugar aisles) or even a little honey, because these will reduce "sugar spikes", which later deplete you of energy. Minimise/eliminate consumption of highly processed foods, particularly grain products, such as white bread, donuts, cake, cookies/biscuits, or anything with sugar. Opt for more wholefoods, non-starchy vegetables, and fruit. View sleep disorders, in section 3, at ezy build, and ensure you get a good night's rest, and read section 26. Use multiple alarms, if necessary; one out of reach. Get up and shower; splash cold water on your face. Have everything organised, the night before, so there is little to do, to delay you. Always factor in "delay time", for unforseeables, and try to be 5 - 10 mns early. Be warned: alcohol abuse is common in law enforcement, so restrict yourself to just 1, or 2, preferably switching to low alc. beer, or Claytons, with soda water, after the first. Otherwise, with your problem, you are likely to suffer more than most!

Well it's usually harder to get out of bed when it's cold out. Set your alarm 10 minutes earlier and don't hit the snooze. You might not be getting enough sleep. Go to bed earlier and make sure you're getting enough sleep. Adolescents/young adults need 8.75-9.5 hours of uninterrupted sleep a night (I did a big research paper on that once). If you're feeling a little low about future job opportunities, talk to a counselor. It could be a like a therapist but I think it might be beneficial for you to talk to a career counselor and find out what you need to do to get the job you want.
