Sometimes forget small random thoughts..?!

Question: Sometimes I'll be sitting in front of my computer and have some random thought or question like "how much does a gallon of water weigh?" and by the time I get to google I'd forget what I was thinking about. If I try to remember I can but it takes a bit of effort. This doesn't happen alot, maybe once every one or two days but wondering if this is normal or perhaps something to be concerned about? I watch alot of House M.D. the television show and that show is making me paranoid... like perhaps my forgetfulness might be some small symptom of a life threatening illness and one day out of the blue I'll just collapse and go into a epileptic fit.

its nothing to do worried about. ur forgetting it coz uv got a lot on ur mind thats all... if the show is making u paranoid, stop watching it. u have recognised that it is a bad thing for u so stop it.....

I do it too. My boyfriend is even worse than me. I think it is just a part of life.

It happens to me all the time...I think you are fine, maybe you are just busy and too many thoughts cross your mind so you tend to forget the ones that are not that important....

Welcome to the human race. And as you get older the senior moments get closer and closer together. Distraction is one answer.

I used to watch the medical shows when I was younger. What ever Dr Kildare's patient had was contagious, because I also developed it. When I stopped watching the medical shows, all my weird symptoms went away.

i think it's just normal. Try consulting a psychologist if you want.
