Answers: and wake up and start all over....could this life cause depression

AHHHH you just described my life!!! lol.... Isn't it sad sometimes? I feel like my whole life is just work work work, go home and do more housework, then cook, clean more, go to bed... ahhhhhh no good. and when i have a day off I am so burnt out I just sit around and relax accomplishing NOTHING.. I know how it feels... I think we could be on the path of depression! Lets hope not though ;)

Take a vacation.

you need to find something of interest - some hobby that you can do when you get back home or on the weekend. however, this life should not cause depression, unless you force it upon yourself.

i agree, take a vacation. come to the philippines, chances are, your money's worth would be much higher thereby you could enjoy more out from it!

Find a boyfriend :)

Hey Me Too! Want to join the club? You get a pretty pin sent in the mail.

I would say so , yes. I drove commercial transport all last year and had basically the same life, except for the go home part. YOu have to, if you haven't already, evaluate your life and decide what is more important to you. I'm betting that you will find as I did, that you just don't enjoy your work enough to continue on in that line. Life is too short to not enjoy

sonner or latter your be done with school, and be able to find a great job, and when you look back you will think wow it may have sucked but now it is worth it.

Only if you dislike it. Get a hobby, start a relationship, take a holiday - they'll all help.

have a social life

Absolutely! Simplify your life! Find a hobby that you really enjoy, (not something someone wants you to do). Take a walk before or after dinner. Cook LESS. Enjoy nature. Laugh and find humor in life. Be calm in all situations. Do something else for a living if this job isn't fulfilling for you. Nobody has to be "chained" to unhappiness!

I just saw an episode of 20/20 a couple of weeks ago that was dedicated to hapiness. According to them, certain factors come into being happy. One of them was socialization. People that got out and did things with friends were generally happier people. Another factor was hobbies. In one country, the government actually pays its citizens to join groups of interest, such as art, dance class, photography, etc.
So maybe there is some truth behind their theory. To be happy, we need to seek it out...joy doesn't fall in our laps. Try getting out and engrossing yourself in something you truly enjoy doing. I think that if you're not depressed now, eventually you might be.

No, millions of people have that routine and are not depressed. I recommend finding a good church and getting involved. It gives your life more purpose.

You get what you put into life. If you think it will lead to depression it probably will. think positive. Get out more often. Sounds like you don't exercise. There are a lot of things you could do. there are dvd with exercise programs that you can do in your home. You will feel better and look better.

I do the same thing except i don't work

Yes, doing the same thing everyday can cause depression,
you have to make a change and do different things to break
up your week and how about socializing on the weekends,
call friends to meet up for lunch or shopping at the mall or
invite friends and coworkers over to play cards or what you
enjoy doing. Do you date?
Also get out in the sunshine as much as possible, it will naturally produce serotonin and dopamine to heighten your
mood and vitamin D to help your body absorb nutrition...you
will see an overall difference how you feel.

i think u need to be ambitious to ur life.
you need to demand sth from ur life in order to make u happy.

our lifes are actually pretty much the same.
so why do some people can actually live happily and why some dont? i think it is about the way how they live their lives.

A nice walk in the sunshine sounds wonderful.
