Question: I am aware that my 14 year old daughters acts older than ehr age, her friends are a bit older, and have confessed to smoking dope, im aware my daughter smokes but she has been stumbling home and acting quite odd recently.
Can you suggest some signs for me to look out for that she may be high?

My mother did this for me and you should do it too, sit her down and ask her if she is and tell her she can be honest and tell her your not gonna do anything, tell her its her choice to do it and she can make her own mistakes, she realize eventually that its not what she needs and its just a phase most kids these days go through to fit in and stuff just let her know you love her and that she has to make her own mistakes to be a better woman.

I think I'd look for the smell. Also, when I was younger and smoked, I'd avoid my parents at all costs, believing that they could tell that I was high. There are also home drug tests that you could use if you want to be absolutely sure. Maybe your daughter should not be allowed to hang out with these friends. They sound like bad influences. Pay lots of attention to her when she gets home and you think shes high. Let her know you know without saying anything and if shes high she'll be nervous enough to catch your drift. Don't make it comfortable for her to come home in that condition. You can buy at home drug testing kits at pharmacys
