Yeah, I find that little old ladies latch onto me! This has been going on since my teens. I'm now 38 and a care of the elderly nurse, so perhaps I'm well suited to my job!
lol this happen to meh all the time in college i find it really uncomfortable becuase yuh dont know who they are how to tell them to go away lol !!!
You have to step back and look at the big picture: These people probably do not have anyone else to talk to, and you are doing them a huge favor by listening. I think it's awesome that you enjoy when it happens.. Maybe you should be a bartender, I'm sure that happens all the time.
Also, maybe you just look like the trusting, sweet, good listener, genuine type.
There is NOTHING wrong with that.
