Question: will i have wiwthdrawals

Answers: will i have wiwthdrawals

You may not have withdrawals, but you were prescribed them for a reason. To stop taking them would not be a good idea. I am on them, have been for years. At one point I thought I was fine, things were good in my life, so I stopped. I quickly went downhill. And like I said everything was good in my life, but stopping them just was not good for me.
You have not told us why you want to stop, but you definately need to talk to your doctor first. If you think they are not working, you need to allow them time. Call your doctor, he is the only one that can really advise you on what to do.

You might. Why would you stop taking them? Can't you just call your doctor and ask this same question?

If you want to stop taking them I think you should run it through your doctor.

You will not have withdrawals after 4 days because not enough of the medication has built up in your system to even be affecting you. I am curious why you want to stop taking them after a short time? But anway, it normally takes about 2-4 weeks before the meds. will be at substantial levels in your body and cause withdrawal.

You could but I suggest talking to the Dr that prescribed them before stopping the medication. It will take several weeks for them to start working. If you are wanting to stop them because they are not working....just give them time. If you are wanting to stop them because of side effects then the Dr can switch the prescription.

Im sorry but I dont think you should.
You must have been prescribed them for a reason I know theres been bad press recently but alot of people are helped (the media do sensationalise things, it sells more copy)
Im guessing you are on a fairly low dose if you are new, I would stick with them its going to take 6 weeks to feel any benefit is there any other help available counselling or cognitive behaviour therapy can both help with a range of mental health problems.

i wouldn't stop without first informing my doctor
