What is a good job for a manic depressed person?!

Question: I have been diagnosed with manic depression along with g.a.d and a panic disorder. I almost always have a frown on my face and it is something that I cannot help. Could anyone suggest a good job for someone like this..

computer programmer, or otherwise working with computers all day. You should see most of the I.T. and computer geeks at most companies. They dress like slobs, and no one bothers them. They don't need a personality, they don't have to smile, they don't have to do anything except make that damn computer work properly. Then again, if you get pissed off easily... maybe a computer job might be a bit touchy for you. But at least you aren't dealing with people or customers, right?

Your other alternatives are to sell stuff on ebay.
Or study subjects at college such as accounting - professions that are mostly just crunching numbers at a desk.

Start writing emo music and work in a razor blade factory.

You can do pretty much whatever you want. Personally, I stay away from customer service jobs, but being manic depressive doesn't prevent you from doing what you want as long as you're getting proper treatment.

Do whatever the hell you want. There is no reason to hide or compromise yourself because of who you are. You might even be able to get a better job because of your condition fro some kind of affirmative action thing.
