I don't see how a lack of social skills that cause many of us to be reclusive and live in isolation as being a positive evolutionary trait. Having Aspergers can possibly enhance a person's intelligence but I wouldn't want to have offspring to suffer the pain of social awkwardness just so they might have higher intelligence.
It's all well and good to claim that Asperger's is just part of the normal range of human diversity, but a lot of those who have it, also have problems with employment, relationships, and depression, also with the skills for social networking, and this disadvantages them. Those who are motivated to, and have the knowledge of, and access to professional treatment, to learn some of those skills, have a much better chance of being accepted in the mainstream. But for the others...
