Why am I like this?!
Question: As far as I can remember, I never liked to ask my parents for things. Even if I really, really want it. It bugs my parents too because they are awesome and they're more than happy to give me what i'd want, and they try everything in thier power to please me and my brothers. Now, my brothers are oppisite, they don't have this problem, if they wanted something, they ask for it with ease and my parents being the parents that they are, they either try to get it for them, help them get it, or kindly explain why they can't have it if my parents think that it's not appropriate or nessesary to have it. But for me, i either feel embarassed or guilty for even thinking of wanting it. Now, I really want to ask them for a new IPod. I had only one my whole life and it lasted me a while but now it broke and i want a new one. I know they never raised me to think this way, so why do i?

I was the only girl out of four brothers and i was the same as you. Your just considerate of your parents and their money.
start saving and get it yourself...you will feel better for it...your lucky to have parents like this and your even luckier that you don't want to take advantage of them.....ya for you...
How about asking them for some jobs to do around the house that they can pay you for so that you can buy one yourself. Ipods are expensive. Earn one by working for it.
