Can having auditory hallucinations be a symptom of stress?!

Question: Stress can certainly provoke symptoms of schizophrenia. It's certainly important to investigate this symptom with a therapist, but it's not that unusual for people with little or no schizophrenia to on rare occasion have hallucinations. (Think of people with fever, on drugs, starving, or even facing the terrors of war. The mind can play tricks on people if the stress is great enough.)

more often a symptom of schizophrenia, and stress is not a disease, therefore has no symptoms. Without some stressors in your life, you would literally die. In short, no, stress does not cause auditory hallucinations.

Not stress, but it can be a symptom of inappropriate grief (that is, you are not greiving in a healthy way) Take some time for yourself and relax. if they do not go away, go see a doc.
