Is this hypochondria?!

Question: My sister keeps fearing that she has fatal diseases. Her fear is so bad she can't stop worrying, and goes to the doctor all the time. She can't hardly think straight. Does this go beyond hypochondria into some kind of mental illness?

It can be considered a mental illness and if it goes to far I would recomend some therapy sessions.
