Lisa1cares, she has sooo many best answers. Is it beacause of votes??!
Question: Hi, I was reading lisa1cares answers to questions as she has so many best answers I thought I could get a few answers in previous questions without asking a new one. Anyway, nearly all her best answers are pickes because it has been put to a vote and not because the question asker pickes it as best answer. How does this work, I mean who choses to putr it to a vote, the asker or answerer?? Also someone answered a q yesterday saying that a certain person was cheating because all their answers were voted for and each vote got 4 points. Can someone explain this and why on earth would someone want to be cheating at this???? Thanks guys

I have recently found out you can vote for yourself as a best answer so if they are just one or 2 answers the vote virtually assures a best answer, Best answers therefor are meaning less. So must be total points and top contributor.
all for some mental fun!!! life is now revolving around internet . so our ids are like population in this internet world. more points means great feeling that is what i know..and nothing more on procedure to award points.
If the asker doesn't pick a best answer, it automatically goes to a vote. You can vote for your own answer. And rumor is, there's a pretty good amount on here with multiple accounts. As in, one account asks a question, one of their others answers it and they give best answer to themselves. Then, they have numerous votes to give out and yadda yadda. Some people just have no life.
i wouldnt worry about it. yahoo only has the point system to encourage users to answer questions. and you can only vote when you get 2 level 2 i think. you can vote for yourself. if the asker doesnt pick a best answer, then the answer with the most votes gets 10 pts. say you voted for yoursef and no one else votes and the asker doesnt pick. then you would get the best answer( even if its only 1 vote. but since no one else voted u got 10 pts) people cheat. its not a big deal. although there is rele no reason to cheat.
