I Need Help Feeling Motivated Again :(?!


Question: I'm basically in a big black pit right now, although I know exactly what I need to do to get my life back on track again. I'm not lazy in the slightest as I'm a really hard working person, I just completely lack any motivation. I know this is a phase I'm going through, I just need to know how I break out of it and how I can make myself feel motivated again. I feel like I'm just wasting my life and missing out on things I want to do. Thanks for you help :) x

you've got to get up and do something. as long as you're sitting there, you are missing out, and you're not going to remember how good it feels to do stuff. so you're dooming yourself if you don't get started. what i do to get a "zest" for life again is to do something spontaneous, or read an inspiration book or watch something inspirational on tv. also, try thinking of the great things in life, and focus on the small things. try to block out the bad, and make a list of the things that will be great when you get up and get started. and right now, get up and DO SOMETHING!

Start exercising. You sound like you might be suffering from depression. Exercise helps with depression. Walk 30-60 minutes every day. Or you can go to the doctor and get some pills and drug yourself every day. The exercise is a better and cheaper life-long solution.

Just start with a little, but make yourself do it every day. You will feel better at the end of two weeks, maybe sooner. Good luck.

You may have some depression, as that is one of the signs. The advice the others have given you is good. But if you find that you cannot make yourself exercise or get up and do something, by all means see a therapist and find out if it's depression. People think medication for depression is something like happy pills, but it isn't. It's something to get you to a point where you can work on your problems or get back to work.

im the same way but what is holding you back. you acn do ti but like me i am suffering through some things. let me know about what it is and i can give you some things to do to back on the horse

Dancing is always a great way to feel good. Dance a few minutes everyday. You will feel MUCH better. Watch the ELLEN show. She is great! Take a walk a few minutes and enjoy the fresh air.
