No, not everyone has bipolar symptoms. Everyone gets happy, enthusiastic, energetic, confident, angry and sad. Those feelings are normal. Mania and depression, by definition, are the absolute extreme of those emotions and others and is not something everyone experiences. If you want a quick rundown on bipolar look it up on wikipedia or google it.

I think I do.

A person with bi-polar depression has EXTREME mood swings, not just the average, ever day mood changes that an average person has. I would suggest that you look up bi-polar through a search engine and see exactly what the disorder is. It is a seriously devastating mental disorder that affects the daily life of anyone that has it or has contact with a person that has it.

I agree with the second answerer, in that these ups and downs are a lot more extreme and painful in people who are Bipolar. It can be very scary : (. Some people go from feeling like they can conquer the world, and accomplish everything they wish one moment..the next moment they are severely depressed and in some cases, they become violent as well (though i won't generalize). It really is devastating for people to go through.
