Wellbutrin vs bupropion?!

Question: is there any significant difference between the two?

Answers: is there any significant difference between the two?

There are slight differences between the two, even though Bupropion is technically 'generic' Wellbutrin. You pay less for the generic drug.
HOWEVER. A recent study was released which found that in Wellbutrin's case, the generic drug *was not as effective* as the brand-name drug:

No difference. Buproprion is the generic name and Wellbutrin is the brand name. (like how Motrin is the brand name for the generic name ibuprofen.)

They are the same thing, but you will pay less for bupropion since it's generic. I tried it to stop smoking and it didn't work at all.
