well i think that you are sleeping way too much
so you may not be gettingGOOD sleep.
first of all, save your bed for sleeping.
dont do your homework in bed, be on the computer in bed, or anythign
if you use your bed only for sleep, it will make it easier to fall asleep because your body will start relating being in the bed and being tired..

also
take about an hour or two before ou go to bed to start winding down.
no bright lights, and no tv.
light and sound are signals for the brain to stay awake
try drinking a warm drink or reading a book.

also, try to go to sleep and wake up at the same time every night.

hope i helped :)

If you get the answer to that question, I will dance at your wedding. I am the worlds worst insom
niac. I hads two hours sleep last night and had to do overtime today. Yet I am still on here and I am not wise. xx

Turn some lights on when you first wake up to help your body recognize the light (or open your blinds/curtains for natural light)

I recommend seeing a dr. if you really are trying but are physically unable to get up. Maybe you have sleep apnea??

Yes sleeping so much is not very healthy and surely not nice. But maybe you need the sleep.Sometimes our body gives us messages about its needs.Maybe this is your signal too.You need to sleep and relax.
And if you really have to get up early, you can use more than one clocks.I have to get up early for work-at 5 in the morning-and sometimes i can't.When this started to happen frequently i bought myself two alarm clocks.(And still using the cell phone)My cell phone is beside my pillow. One of the clocks is at the shelf over my head. The last and the loudest one is far from my bed.I have to get up to turn it off and it has a really nasty and disturbing noise!!!

Wow- what do you do with your day? I can't imagine wasting MORE than the entire first half of my day in an impaired state of consciousness. Damn.

Get up at 5 am and take a freezing cold shower. Excercise early and keep yourself moving. After an hour or so of stimulating yourself, you should be fine. Just kick yourself in the ***.

Thats pretty weird but i think i've got something for you. you can either buy like 5-10 different alarm clocks and set them at different spots at a distance and set them for the same time. so when its like 8am, and like 5 different alarm clocks ring, it should wake you up. if that doesn't work, ask your room mate to pour like ice or cold water on you to wake you up since you turn the alarm off. to change a habit, you have to make a routine so start making plans to waking up early such as working out in the morn so you force your body to wake up to do something productive. good luck

i have foudn it helpful to have someone help with this problem. have a friend/roommate/parent wake you us every day at the time you choose. if you can get up for class, choose that time and pick someone reliable. have them come over and wake you up, no matter what you say. it may take a long time, but eventually, if you go to bed at the same time every night and get up at the same time every day, your body will adjust and set its own clock. you should also talk to you doctor, who may be able to help

we should do a swop,i cannot sleep,i wake up every hour every night i am really tired through the day and fall into bed but the same thing happens its horrible

hit yourself on the head with a hammer

Maybe this is depression talking.
You may want the days to go by so you will not have to wonder what you should do the whole day long.
On a rainy day, I tell myself, "I don't want to get up until 10 or 11 o'clock just so the day will not seem sooooo long.
I am taking Ritalin for energy so this goes against my wishes to sleep the day away.
Get up around the same time each morning.
Plan to do activities you enjoy at certain times of the day.
When it comes to the evening, start to unwind a few hours before bedtime. Watch TV, read or do Sudoku.
Sudoku makes me tired before bed. I hope this helps.
