Overwhelming depression???!

Question: Please help me. I have been getting the worst depression ever! I always get along with my parents and sibling, and today I was just so overwhelmed when they asked me a simple question I felt like yelling "So what? you can all go to hell!" then I started crying in my room. I don't want to go out of the house, I don't care about how I look. (I'm under 20, I shouldn't be feeling this way). I want to quit everything I succeed in. It sounds stupid and lame but I'm just so depressed!

Gracie..you are definitely suffering from severe depression dear. Schedule an appointment with a psychiatrist as soon as possible. They will get you on meds to help your brain neurochemsitry get back into the normal range. Chronic depression is caused by prolonged stress which affects your glands ability to secrete enough antistress chemicals which in turn causes chronic depression. Half of the US
will be on antidepressants at one point in their life..So you are not alone. They will also help you with therapy to help you deal effectively with stressors in your life, but you will definitely need the meds at least for a little while until your glands recover and until the major stressors in your life are effectively addressed with coping skills. Don't fool around with this condition. It usually only gets worse, if you can imagine that. If money is a problem, you can get antidepressants from a clinic or regular doctor and walmart has most antidepressants for $4 for a month's supply with no insurance. God bless dear! Try to eat as healthy as you can and drink plenty of water. Get outside in the sun for a little bit every day. It will help if you can. Take care now!

If it is temporary you may be having a bad day, stressed, or it could be hormones. If it is an ongoing thing go see a doctor. They may need to give you an anti depressant.

Depression is anger turned inward.
That's why you wanted to strike out.
Find out what youre angry about and deal with it any way you can find.

Maybe Your Just Having A Bad Day :[
It It Continues..Try A Medicine.
I Like Zoloft,
And I'm Under 20,
Hell,I'm Under 15.
