My teen daughter and mischief?!

Question: My daughter is 15, and all she seems to be doing is getting into trouble. Every weekend it's the same story. Last weekend the security at the mall caught her for shoplifting. She didn't show any remorse. One of my neighbours caught her flatting they're cars tires and spraying things on they're walls.

She has also been caught smoking at school, as well as caught in a lewd act in the bathroom's with a boy. And she just laughs about it. And the other night I smelled alcohol all over her after picking her up from a party. I am absolutely stumped, any advice thanks

It seems as though you are always there to bail her out. Let the mall security call the police and have her taken to juvi. Let them fingerprint her, give her a full body search and stay in a dirty cell with no privacy for anything. Perhaps she will think twice before trying it again. It's tough but you can't always follow her nor what she does away from home.

You may think that I am a bit harsh but what are the consequences of drinking? Suppose the driver is also drunk. A car wreck could cause a fatality and anything YOU could have done will be too late. Think about it. Good Luck.

WHY IS SHE STILL ALLOWED OUT OF THE HOUSE?!?!?!?!

get out the paddle

ground her and give her more 1 to 1 attention!

you should bring her to a counselor or at least family therapy...perhaps there is something going on in her life that's hidden from your eyes...

I used to be your fifteen year old daughter. Things will get increasingly worse an less there is something done. I moved to a different place and that seemed to help some. I would look at your behavior more then hers. I was acting out because I was miserable with myself, my life and everything in it. My mother was exacerbating the situation with her own problems.I didn't care who I hurt or what trouble I got in. Sounds like she needs some counseling and you might too. Good Luck.

well why did you let her go to that party??

obviously she will drink!
but i'm glad you are a good parent and care.

well, i say boot camp.
that's the best thing for her.

god i love being a 17 year old straight edge kid....
