Enough is enough?!

Question: I am using me friend's account cuz I don't have my own. I know I am not alone but feel so. I am secretly depressed and have no clue as to why. I use pills like they are going out of style but maintain my responsibilities. Also, I tend to get so nervous I bite my nails till they bleed. Without health insurance I am kind of stuck and really do not want to let on to even my closest friends that anything is wrong... "WHY?" you might ask... Because it is me that everyone comes to with issues. I am the HAPPY one in thier eyes- the one with all the answers. I like that they see me that way but inside... I am a wreck. Any input? I'm in my 30's, pretty healthy, moderately good looking, in a nice relationship...

You're fairly young, healthy, good-looking and in a nice relationship. You shouldn't sound so depressed! Perhaps you've got a chemical imbalance in your brain that causes your depression. This is the case for most people who feel depressed despite their lives seemingly going well. The proper medication given to you by your doctor should easily fix that problem.

Still, that might not be the case. There are a number of other possible reasons, not neccessarily physical reasons, for your depression. Something tramatic in your past, drug abuse, financial problems, marital problems, family problems, the list goes on and on. Or, there might not be any particular reason for your depression, but there is always a cause. I would suggest that you vent your feelings to your significant other. I would also suggest telling your friends about your problems. If they come to you all the time with their problems, it is only right for them to listen to you in your time of need.

Trust me, your situation is not hopeless. It sounds like you've got people you can go to and lean on. You will be fine.

Good luck.

Talk to your friends. The ones worth having will care a lot.

Many county social services departments will have low cost or free mental health care. You should contact them. They might be able to provide you with some care with fees that are based on your ability to pay. Medications can be a little more complicated since prices of prescriptions for anti-depressants can be high.

I recommend that you seek out whatever level of treatment you can obtain. Depression can be effectively treated and it doesn't need to control you life.

you need to open up to one of your friends, even if its just one, they will be there for you, maybe your mom or sister? or your closest friend i mean try to forget how they veiw you on the outside, its the inside that counts! if you dont do something about the inside, someday it will leak through, god is there too, open up to him, thats what he's there for, give it all to him! good luck! Blessings!

the pills alone can make you depressed if you are taking to many
