Sleeping problem - what can i do?!


Question: Many teenagers have this sort of problem.. even though i am dead tired in the evening i find it hard to fall asleep! then i stress and become more awake :S what can i do? thank you in advance for the answer! Appreciate your help.

stresses of the day can be the main reason why your brain wont close down, life is tough with loads of pressures, this is what i do , i burn lavender in an oil burner, in the bedroom for an hour before bed i take a nice hot bath with radoxs, then go to bed even if you don't go straight to sleep keep telling yourself you are at least resting, try to remain calm, don't keep going over the days events in your mind try keep your mind as clear as possible

Paul mckenna does some excellent Cd's on getting off to sleep , try them he his good

Warm bath, healing garden sleep therapy lotion on shoulders and chest smells heavenly and relaxing, lights off, no music, start at feet and think relax all muscles to top of head. Good night!

I started taking a potassium supplement. And reading before bed makes my eyes tired and turns off my mind to outside problems. I am reading the Oprah recommended book, A New Earth. It is awsome! You can find more info on Oprah.com. Otherwise just read to make u tired.

put some vix on your nose. That always works for me, and i sleep fine now. You know vix, that vapour rub that you pt on your nose when it is blocked. It'll be fine, and its really cheap. Good night.

Yoga!!! learn to clear your mind and find that inner peace....It can be done..... If not try going for a sleep study, maybe you have sleep apnea that could be aided by a machine.

Try learning how to breathe deeply. You might take a beginners Yoga class, or watch it on FIT TV, or get Yoga for Dummies.

I learned to breathe deep, focussing on breathing in, holding it, and exhaling - in a few minutes I'm asleep.

Also, stop doing things (internet, IM, TM, telephone, working on things) an hour or two before you want to go to sleep.
(This means do your homework earlier.)
