Are there natural remedies for depression?!

Question: St john's Wort has been found to alleviate depression, but still needs to be taken under a physician's or practitioner's advice. Herbal remedies are NOT 100% safe always, though preferable. Ginko Biloba is good for anxiety, and memory improvement. There are still side affects and contraindications for all drugs, natural or man made.
Vitamin B complex can also improve moods, and energy which can be zapped from the blues
Absolutely exercising releases endorphins which always improve your mood
I feel that with depression, both supplements or anti depressants work much better when taken in conjunction with talk therapy.

Sometimes increasing your intake of omega 3 faty acids can help depression. The acids assist your brain in carrying signals within itself and throughout your body. Its always best though, to go see a doc if you think you have depression. they can refer you to a therapist.

St Johns Wort, Vitamin B Complex, Starflower Oil, Omega Oils, Primrose Oil

yes, there are.
first off, stop eating junk food. the healthier you eat the better off you'll be. as much as chocolate seems good for your depression, it actually makes it worse. the sugar and fat weighs you down and makes you more depressed.
also exercise more. go out for a run in your neighborhood or workout at a gym or at home. when you exercise natural endorphins kick in and make you feel better about yourself.
also this will make you look great, which will make you happier with yourself.
go hang out with your friends and forget about your problems for a day. if you can't forget about them then tell someone you trust about them. even if they can't help you they'll sympathize, and you'll feel a lot better after telling someone.

good luck and i hope this helped.

Hobbies. Their advice as far as junk food, etc...that can work. I have found that Art is very relaxing, or anything you enjoy/are good at helps you. Reading, long walks, anything to clear your head routinely has helped me. Getting out with friends, anything that will make you happy. I hope this helps...
