I don't know what to do. please help.?!
Question: I (well, mostly me with the help of some people on YA) have decided that I need to go see my doctor or a psychiatrist for some "issues". But, the thing is, I don't want to tell my parents. Mostly my dad. See, we've gotten into this habit. We, we being me and my dad like to make fun of people, usually it's just a group of people, like people that leave their Christmas lights on way past Christmas for instance (my dad calls them hillbillies). But we also secretly make fun of my weird neighbor, Kendall. He had to go to somewhere in Sioux City because of some "problems". We make fun of him a lot-ish. (yes, I know it's mean, and I shouldn't do that, but we can't help it. it's funny, well making jokes is, not that he had to go away for a while). And that's why I don't want to tell my parents. I don't want my dad to make fun of me or something, he wouldn't, but, well, yeah... And there aren't really any other s that I really trust. I don't really trust any of my friends either...

If you are having certain "issues" that you cannot openly discuss with you closest friends because of possible embarrassment, then you need someone else you can confide in.

Your parents don't need to know, especially with a father like that. He really needs some counseling too with his attitude.
Start with your school counselor. They should guide you in the right direction and your parents won't have to know, unless you're putting yourself or someone else in danger.
